How do I best care for my new Roz Ng jewelry?

We work hard to ensure every piece that is created and sent out is perfect for lasting wear and admiration. To help extend the life of your piece, we recommend handling your jewelry with care as excessive bending may cause the piece to weaken and/or break over time and potentially loosen any stones.

We use solid 22, 20, and 18 karat gold so your pieces will last you a lifetime. 22 karat gold is considered the best quality for metals in the industry, yet it is also the softest form of retail gold jewelry and should thus be properly cared for to minimize wearing thin from overuse. To ensure the longevity of your pieces, we recommend keeping adjustments to a minimum.

Gold in its purest form does not tarnish and when taken care of properly, lasts forever. It is, however, natural for the other metals in the alloy to oxidize over time. To slow down this process, wipe jewelry pieces with a microfiber cloth and store in an airtight bag or container when they are not being worn. It is also recommended to remove jewelry before showering, swimming, or exercising.
